ISAGENIX 30 Day Cleanse:First Day

BLOGPICWell folks…here is the first entry for the first day of this 30 Day Cleansing and Fat Burning System. As I said previously, I have benefited from 9 Day Cleanses but have never attempted a 30 Day Cleanse before.

As you can see by the picture to the right, I still have some weight loss to accomplish, but I fully expect to get there with this 30 Day Cleanse.  As of this moment,  I need to lose 30.6 lbs to get to where all the charts and experts say someone 5’7″ should be. Currently I am at 195.6 lbs.

If losing as much as I did on two 9 Day Cleanses is attainable…then 30 lbs on a 30 Day Cleanse should be also. You will notice that I still have a slight belly…but I must believe that the abs of former years have not packed up and left me permanently!

Alright…here are a few tips for beginning any cleanse. First…read all the info you can about the cleanse products and how and when to use them before the day you’re going to start. Secondly…take your measurements and starting weight first thing on the first day of your cleanse. Thirdly…get a good, clear photo the first day to motivate yourself. Be brave and show this picture to friends and ask them to encourage you in your efforts. Fourthly…and this is really one of the most important…PLAN your meals. Be thinking about WHAT you are going to eat instead of where you’re going to eat. That has always been a problem with me and my eating. I would eat out quite often during the day and always knew what Mexican, Chinese or Italian Restaurant I would be near around lunch or dinner time. Instinctively, my addictions would trigger and I would lose. (see above picture!)

So, it is important to plan what you’re going to eat between your shakes on each day…and remember to keep it around 400-600 calories for that meal.

Also, remember to walk at least 20 minutes each day during your cleanse. Some folks will do light free weight workouts. That’s fine for shake days but not recommended during liquid days.

BLOGPIC2 Well, that’s it for today. 195.6lbs starting weight. Tomorrow morning I’ll weigh and report   to this blog in the evening. You don’t have to weigh each day…I just like to for comparison sake to see results from liquid days versus shake days.

    George,

    Great post! I love the quote at the bottom also. Hospitals deal in the “sickness” industry, we deal in the “wellness” industry.

    I can’t wait to see the results you get. 30 pounds in 30 days is possible, but taking 2 Isalean shakes per day, which have 23 ounces or undenatured organic whey protien from NZ, will build you some lean muscle, which of course weighs more than fat.

    If you do lose 30 lbs, that means you have lost a ton of fat…while increasing your lean muscle mass.
